The staff at Tarhe are the adults who come to serve as teachers, cooks, cabin counselors, worship leaders, speakers and everything in between. These people are christians who the Lord has called to serve Him at Tarhe. Some roles may be more involved with campers than others but all of the staff at Tarhe should have a strong and growing relationship with the Lord. As staff they should be pursuing the Lord year round and serving Him year round, not just the week or two they are at Tarhe.

The CIT program is designed to have sophomores and older train to become counselors in the future. CITs are responsible for building relationships with campers and supporting them through the week to respond to what the Lord may be putting on their hearts. CITs are also responsible for leading their cabin in a devotion and running one anything goes game during the week. CIT are generally looked up to by campers and should therefore serve as an example during service, worship, meals, flags and anytime campers are watching. CIT should be attending church regularly and involved in some sort of community (small group, bible study, ministry, ect.) throughout the year. CITs should come to serve because the Lord has put it on their hearts to be at Tarhe; this should come from a growing relationship with the Lord.
